WHERF,AS, it is contemplated that the City of Georgetown, Texas will construct
certain sewage transmission facilities with an estimated total cost of $146,500;
and
WHEREAS, it is found that the City of Georgetown is unable to provide the
total cost of such improvements; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and proper to apply for federal grant
under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, Public Law 660, as amended, in
order to have sufficient funds to complete these much needed improvements.
NOW THEld FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of George-
town, Texas, that Jay C. Sloan, Mayor of Georgetown be and is hereby authorized
and directed to make application and sign the necessary documents required to
complete the project on behalf of the City of Georgetown, Texas, for a federal
grant under Public Law 660, as amended, to be applied to the cost of the con-
struction of said sewage facilities. The City of Georgetown, Texas, hereby agrees
that if a federal grant for the project is made pursuant to the Federal Water
Pollution Control Act, the City will pay the remaining costs of the approved
project.
Adopted this 13th day of April, 1970.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:

L. THAT the owners, liussell Parker and wife, Irene Williams Parker,.fo that
certain tract of land designated as "EXTENSION OF DAWN DRIVE, WILLIAMS ADDITION -
UNIT 2" to the City of Georgetown, Texas, are hereby authorized to file for record
in the office of the County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas, the map or plat of
said tract attached hereto, and the said County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas,
is hereby authorized to accept for filling, and to record said map of said tract
of land.
2. In authorizing the filling and recording of said map of said tract of
land, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, does not assume any ob-
ligation to build, grade or improve the streets shown thereon, nor to construct
any bridges or culverts in connection therewith,
ADOPT1D AND APPROVED this the 8th day of June 1970. .
