BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, TE){AS :
1. That the owners, Harold S. Parker, individually and as Attorney in Fact for
J. T. Parker, Jr. and wife, Annie E. Parker, Ralph Parker and wife, Pegee N. Parker,
Vivian N; Dunman and husband, Cecil Dunman,' and Peggy M. Parker, wife of Iiarold S.
Parker, of that certain tract of land designated as Country Club Acres, Unit IV,
to the City of Georgetown, Texas, are hereby authorized to file for record in the
office of the County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas the map or Plat of said
tract attached hereto, and the said County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas, is
hereby authorized to accept for filing and -to record said biap of said Tract of land.
2. In authorizing the filing and recording of said Map of said tract of land, the
City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, does not assume any obligation to
grade, improve or maintain the streets shown thereon.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 27th day of June, 1970.

ANNEXING ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER. DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTLNDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO
INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING
TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGIITS
AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE
ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each
and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described terri-
tory, to -wit:
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and is not more than one-half (a) mile in width, and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 6th day of
July, 1970, such date being not less than 5 and notmore than 30 days from the date
hereof, and
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the
same, the city Council has voted to grant such petition and to annex said territory
to the City of Georgetown, Texas:
NOW TIIEfIEFORE, be it ordained by .the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas:
That the foregoing described property be and the same is hereby annexed to the
City of Georgetewo, Williamson County, Texzs, and that the boundary limits of the
City of Georgetown, Texas, be and the same arehereby extended to include the above
described territory within the city limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and
the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of said City,
and said land and the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all
rights and privileges of other citizens'of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and shall
be bound by the acts and ordinances of said city.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of Georgetown,
Texas, a certified copy of this ordinance.
PASSED by an affirmative vote of all members of the City Council, this 6th
day of July, 1970.
