RESOLUTION APPROVING "BLOCK 'F', SOUTH SAN GABRIEL UTIMAN RENEWAL ADDITION"
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGlTOIN. , TEXAS:•
That the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, Texas owner of
that certain tract of land designated as "Block 'F', South San Gabriel Urban
Renewal Addition" to the City of Georgetown, Texas, is hereby authorized to file
for record in the office of the County Clerk of Williamson County, the Map or
Plat of said tract attached hereto, and the said County Clerk of Williamson
County is hereby authorized to accept for filing and to record said Map of said
Tract of land.
ADOPTED AND APPROVID this 10 day of August, 1970.

V AN AMMME T TO TETE PLUMBING CODE OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOUNI , TEXAS,
AMENDING CHAPTETt 12 BY ADDING A NEIV SECTION, 12.1.3.1; AMENDING SECTION
12.1.4 AND AMENDING CHAPTETt 22, SECTION 22.2.2
BE IT ORDAINED that the Plumbing Code of the City of Georgetownr Texas, en-
acted October 14, 1963, is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. of this amendment
Chapter 12 of said Plumbing Code, "MATERIALS - QUALITY AND WEIGIIT" is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following:
"12.1.3.1 Nothwithstanding anything in said Plumbing Code it is Pereby
provided that plastic pipe and fittings may be installed as hereinafter
provided andlsuch pipe and fittings shall be approved by the City Council
acting by and through its plumbing inspector. Such plastic pipe may be
used for drain, waste, vents, building and/or house sewers, indirect waste
and storm drains, throughout all types of buildings. Such pipe shall be
schedule 40 ABS or PVC, MVV as specified in Commercial Standard 270-65
or 272-65. Pipe and fittings shall be identified as provided in the above.
Standard and shall bear the seal of the National Sanitation Foundation.
Pipe for storm drains and indirect wastes will meet the requirements of
CS 207-60 for PVC or CS 218-59 for ABS," All plastic pipe and fittings
shall be marked as follows:

Markings shall be visible for inspection on both Pipe and Fittings
of PVC and ABS
All underground piping within buildings shall be imbedded in six (6)
inches of sand below, above, and to both sides of the pipe. The Plumbing
Inspector of the City of Georgetown may determine at any time if additional
protection is necessary. Such pipe materials shall be used in accordance
with manufacturers' recommended practices and procedures, but in no case
shall they be less restrictive than as outlined in Commercial Standard
272-65-270-65 or the recommendations of the National Sanitation Foundation
Standards. Provisions of the expansion and support of the pipe shall be
as recommended by these standards."
