liHEIt1:AS, on the 19th day of November, 1970, the Board of Commissioners of
the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown adopted Resolution Number 129,
by which the Board accepted the bid of Mrs. C«therine Clarkson for the purchase
of parcel F-13, tract of land situated in the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal
Project No. TEX It -102 and more particularly described in said Resolution; and,
WHLItLAS, said Resolution Number 129, as an official action of the Urban
Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, is a public record on file in the
office of said Agency at 702 Austin Avenue, and said Resolution is incorporated
herein by reference for all purposes; and,
1'0IE1U,AS, an executed copy of said Resolution was forwarded to the City
Council on the 23rd day of November, 1970, by the Executive Director of the
Urban Renewal agency for approval of the price and conditions of the proposed
sale of said property; and,
1'HERI:AS, the City Council finds nothing; objectionable concerning the
price and conditions of said bid as submitted, and the reco"miendation of said
Urban Renewal Agency Board as contained in said Resolution Dumber 129;
n NOW, TIIEliLFORE BE IT ILESOLVED BY TILE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLURGRTOl4N:
That the price and conditions set forth, in the Bid of Mrs. Catherine
0 Clarkson for the purchase of parcel F-13 in the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal
Project No. TEX R-102 are hereby approved.

AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PALCE FOR A PUBLIC H&WING
ON THE PROPOSED A.>\NEXIATION OF CEItTAIN PILOPULTY BY TILE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TILE MAYOR TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING: AND DECLARING AN E.\tEl -_
GLNCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TILE CITY COUNCIL OF TILE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TI:.'CAS:
Section 1. On the 7th day of December, 1970 at 7:30 P.M. o'clock in the City
Council Chamber of the City hall of the City of Georgetown, Texas the City Council
will hold a public hearing giving'all interested persons the right to appear and
be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Georgetown, Texas of the pro-
perty described on "Exhibit A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof
for all purposes.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Georgetown -is hereby authorized and
directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in'a news-
paper having general circulation in the city and in the above described•territory
not more than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public
hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter 160, Acts,
of the 58th Legislature, Regular Session, 1963; compiled as 970a, Vernon's
Texas Civil Statutes. _
Section 3. The importance of this ordinance creates an emergency and an
imperative public necessity that the rule requiring ordinances to be read at
three several meetings be suspended, and this rul.e is hereby suspended, and the
ordinance shall take effect.and be in force from and after its adopti.on..
