WMILEAS, the City Council finds nothing objectionable concerning the
price and conditions of said bid as submitted, and the recommendation of
said Urban Renewal Agency Board as contained in'said Resolution Number 133;
NOW, THEILEFOHE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN:
That the price and conditions set forth, An the Bid of Clarence Tanksley
for the purchase of Parcel P-1, in the South San Gabriel .Urban Renewal
Project No. TEX R-102 are hereby approved.

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, ACCETTING BID OF CLARLNCE
TANXSL1Y FOR LOT 1, BLOCK P, CARVER SCHOOL
ADDITION.
WHEItEAS, by Resolution #112 dated March 3, 1970, minimuq acceptable
prices for lots 1-11 in Block P Carver School Addition were established by this
body; and
WIMLEAS, in same said Resolution, it was directed that said lots be
offered for sale for private residential development by advertising for sealed
bids; and
WMJ'd.AS, lot 1 was advertised in the November 5, 1970 edition of the
Williamson County Sun, a newspaper published in Georgetown, Texas, and,
WHEREAS, Clarence Tanksley has made bid in the amount of $800.00 (said
amount being same as the minimum acceptable price and said bid being the
highest and only bid received for this lot;
NOW THEREFOIM:BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE BOARD OF COMIISSIONELS OF THE URBAN
R.E LI AL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
that the price and conditions set forth in the bid of Clarence Tanksley
is hereby accepted;
That this Resolution be forwarded to the City Council of the City of George-
town, Texas for its approval, and,
Tuat the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Urban Renewal Agency
of the City of Georgetown is authorized to execute a Redevelopment contract
with Clarence Tanksley.
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOIL THE EXTLNSION OF CERTAIN
1 BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF GEORGLTOWN, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CL:ILTAIN TERILITORY CONSISTING OF
67 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACL'NT TO C
AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMIT OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS.
WIIEId AS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of George-
town, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity
to be heard on the proposed annexation of the territory described on "Exhibit
A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes, was
held at Georgetown City Hall on the 7th day of December, 1970, which date is
not more than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the institution of
annexation proceedings; and
WHE:IdAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper
having general circulation in the City of Georgetown, Texas, and in the above
described territory on the 3rd day of December, 1970, which date is not more
than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing;
and
WHEREAS, the total corporate area of the City of Georgetown, Texas, on
the first day of January, 1970, was 2,000 acres; and
