WATERWORKS SYSTEM; AND $100,000 OF BONDS ARE AUTHORIZED FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CONSTRUCTING EXTENSIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY'S ELECTRIC .
LIGHT SYSTEM: PRESCRIBING THE FORM, TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE BONDS
AND THE FORM OF THE INTEREST COUPONS: PLEDGING THE REVENUES OF THE
CITY'S COMBINED WATERWORKS, SEWER AND ELCTRIC LIGHT SYSTEM TO THE
PAY HENT OF PRINCIPAL OF THE INTEREST ON SAID BONDS AFTER DEDUCTION OF
REASONABLE EXPENSES OF OPERATING AND MAINTAINING SAID COMBINED SYSTEM:
MAKING CERTAIN COVENANTS OF SAID CITY WITH REFERENCE TO THE BOND FUND
FROM WHICH SAID PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST ARE TO BE PAID: ENACTING
PROVISIONS INCIDENT AND RELATING TO THE SUBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THIS
ORDINANCE: CONFIRMING THE SALE OF THE BONDS: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
PASSED AND APPROVED at a meeting open to the public, this the
15th day of March, 1971, after public notice of the time, place and .
purpose of said meeting was given and posted as required by law.

ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON
CITY OF GEORGETOWN
On this day the 15th of March, 1971, the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, T,xas convened in special session at the regular meeting place
thereof in the City with the following members present, to -wit:
JAY C. SLOAN
Mayor
HUBERT BROCK
WILLIAM EANES
J. D. WININGER
COUNCILMEN
HARRY GOLD
JOE CRAWFORD
CLAUD FADS,
City Secretary
and the following absent: NONE, constituting a quorum, when the following,
among other proceedings were had, to -wit:
Councilman Gold introduced a proposed ordinance which was read in full.
Councilman Eanes moved that the rule requiring ordinances to be read at more
than one meeting be suspended. The motion was seconded by Councilman Crawford.
The motion carried by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Brock, Eanes, Wininger, Gold and Crawford;
NOES: NONE
Councilman Brock moved that the ordinance be passed finally. The motion
was seconded by Councilman Wininger. The motion carried by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Brock, Eanes, Wininger, and Gold and Crawford;
NOES: NONE.
The Mayor announced that the ordinance had been passed finally.
