HomeMy WebLinkAbout0244_2392��.9 RESOLUTION Be it resolved that the Mayor of the City of Georgetown take the steps necessary and required by law in order that the City limits of Georgetown be extended southward along Interstate 35 as soon as lawful. That the proper notices be given as required by Article 970a Vernons Civil Statutes and that the 5th day of April,1971, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. be set and designated as the time, and that the City Council Chamber be the place, for the public hearing so that all interested persons shall have the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation of the property described on the attached and annexed "Exhibit A" which is hereby made a part of this resolution for all.purposes. SLOAN, MAYOR, CITY OF GEORGETOWN CITY SECRETARY C NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON CONTEMPLATED ANNEXATION V NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSON, THAT: The City of Georgetown, Texas proposes to institute annexation proceed- ings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said city to include the property described on "Exhibit A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all puposes. A public hearing will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas on the 5th day of April, 1971 at 7:30 P.M. o'clock in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall of the City of Georgetown, Texas, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the above proposed annexation.
