HomeMy WebLinkAbout0263_258258 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, TO SUBMIT THE RE -CERTIFICATION DOCUMENT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS: The Mayor of the City of Georgetown, Texas is hereby authorized to submit the re -certification document, for the "Workable Program for Community Improve- ment" to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 11th day of October, 1971. ATTEST: City Secretary Jay C. Sloan, Mayor, City of Georgetown RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on the 5th day of October, 1971, the Board of Commissioners of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown adopted Resolution Number I50, by which the Board accepted the bid of Lorene Henry for the purchase of parcel Lot 2, Block M, tract of land.situated in the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Project No. TEX K-102 and more particularly described in said Resolution; and, WHEREAS, said Resolution Number 150, as an official action of the Urban Renew- al Agency of the City of Georgetown, is a public record on file in the office of said Agency at 702 Austin Avenue, and said Resolution is incorporated herein by reference for all purposes; and, WHEREAS, an executed copy of said Resolution was forwarded to the City Council on the 11th day of October, 1971, by the Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency for approval of the price and conditions of the proposed sale of said property; and, WHEREAS, the City Council finds nothing objectionable concerning the price and condi&ions of said bid as submitted, and the recommendation of said Urban Renewal Agency Board as contained in said Resolution Number 150; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN That the price and conditions set forth, in the bid of Lorene Henry for the purchase of parcel No. M-2 in the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Project No. Tex R-102 are hereby approved.
