WI1191EAS, the City Council before adopting this amendment to the Zoning Or-
dinance gave notice of such hearing by publishing the same one time in the William -
County Sun, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which said notice
stated the time and place of such hearing and which time was not earlier than
15 days from the first day of such publications; and
WHEREAS, written notices were given to all of the owners of the lots within
200 feet of the above described property as required by law;
NOW, THEIUYOILE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning flap of the City of Georgetown, be amended
so that the property described above shall be and the same is herebe removed from
"R -S", Residential Single Family District to "iI-hl", Residential Multiple -Family
District.
The enactment of this ordinance being necessary to the immediate preservation
of public business and to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal
department, it is declared to be an emergency measure, which shall have and take
effect following its present reading and adoption.
READ, PASSED AND ADOPTED BY unaimous vote this 8th day of November, 1971
and READ, PASSED and ADOPTED by unanimous vote this 13th day of December, 1971.

RESOLUTION
WIRItEAS, the Application to Vacate "San Gabriel Hills", a subdivision duly
plated and reflected in Volume 4, Page 74 of the Palt Records of Williamson County,
Texas, reference to said instrument and its record being hereby made for all
purposes, haveing been filed with the City Council for the City of Georgetown,
Williamson County, Texas, for the purpose of vacating the plat relative to said
subdivision of 41 acres of land located in the C. Stubblefield Survey; and,
WHEItEAS, it appearing to the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas
that said H. R. Gaddy, Jr., Douglas M. Benold and James L. Shepherd are,the sole
and only owners of all land located within said subdivision as plated and that the
aforesaid application to vacate said plat is in all things proper:
TIIERLFO1tE, BE IT RESOLVED TIiAT "San Gabriel Hills", a subdivision of record
in Volume 4, Page 74, is hereby in all things VACATED, CANCELLED, AND HELD FOIL
NAUGHT. It is the purpose of the City Council by passage of this resolution, pur-
suant to Article 974A, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes, to destroy the force and
effect of the recording of said plat of record in Volume 4, Page 74, Plat,Rpcords
of Williamson County, Texas and pursuant to said statute the Country Clerk of
Williamson County, Texas shall write in plain, legible letters across the plat so
vacated the work "Vacated: and also shall make a reference on same to the Volume
and page in the Deed Record where this instrument is recorded.
