HomeMy WebLinkAbout0291_286• • 1 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on the 5th day of July, 1972, the Board of Commissioner& of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown adopted Resolution Number 214, by which the Board accepted the bid of N. K. Parsons for the purchase of Parcels P-6, P-7, P-8 and P-9, tracts of land situated in the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Project No. Tex. R-102 and more particularly described in said Resol- ution; and, WHEREAS, said Resolution Number 214, as an official action of the Urban Renewal Agency of the pity of Georgetown, is a public record on file in the office of said Agency at 702 Austin Avenue, and said Resolution is incorporated herein by reference for all purposes; and, WHEREAS, an executed copy of said Resolution was forwarded to the City Council on the 10th day of July, 1972, by the Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency for approval of the price and conditions of the proposed sale of said property; and, WHEREAS, the City Council finds nothing objectionable concerning the price and conditions of said bid as submitted, and the recommendation of said Urban Renewal Agency Board as contained in said Resolution Number 214; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY°COUNCIL► OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN: That the price and conditions set forth, in the Bid of M. K. Parsons for the purchase of Parcels P-6, P-70 P-8 and P-9, in the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Project No. Tex. R-102 are hereby approved. ADOPTED: July 11, 1972 ATTEST: City'Secreiary BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: That, in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement previously entered into with the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, Texas on April 8, 1968, the City will pay its share of the cost of water and sewer facilities to be installed in the beginning of 9th Street and North along Timber and West Streets as described in drawing entitled "South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Project, Water & Sanitary Sewer, Job #68 -218 -UR" and dated August 14, 1972, copy of which is attached.
