Holden, owner of Oak Ridge, a Resubdivision of Lots 14 and 15 of San Gabriel Estates, is hereby authorized to file for record in the office of the County Clerk of Williamson County, for the flap or Plat of said tract attached hereto, and the said County Clerk of Williamson County is hereby authorized to accept for filing and to record said Nap of said Tract of Land ADOPTED ANp APPROVED this the 8th day of January, 19a:""""'►�. fo ATTEST: I, Claud Eads, Secretary of the City Council of Georgetown, Texas, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution is a true and correct exemplifi- cation of the original resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, at a regular meeting duly held at Georgetown, Texas, on the 8th day of January, 1973, at which a quorum was present to certify which witness my official hand and the corporate seal of said City. 13V laud Eads, Secretary O R D I N A N C E AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING ALL OF FOREST STREET LYING BETWEEN WEST 7TH STREET AND WEST 8TH STREET IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AS HEREIN SET FORTH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Nearl V. Leffler, et al the owners of adjoining lands in Blocks 42 and 43, City of Georgetown, and WHEREAS, the petition states that the portion of Forest Street lying between West 7th abd West 8th Streets has not been in use by the public for many years and, in fact, indications are that said block has never been graded or inproved or opened to public use, and WHEREAS, the petitioners state that they own lots 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Block 42 and Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in block 43, "'ity of Georgetown, being all of the land adjoining the portion of Forest Street which is requested to be vacated and closed and that they desire to redevelop the West half of Block 43 and that the locations of certain present and proposed buildings make it necessary that said block be closed and vacated. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the 700 block of Forest Street, being that portion of same lying between 7th and 8th Streets be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and aband- oned except that the City of Georgetown reserves for itself or for any utility company, the right to maintain, repair and replace any water, newer or other utility line presently located in, upon or over said block.
