WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the
Zoning Ordinance; said approval being given by said commission on June 26, 1973; and
WHEREAS written notices were given to all of the owners of the land within 200
feet of the above described property as required by law;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning map of the City of Georgetown, be amended
so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from "R -S"
Single Family District and "R -P" Residential Planned District to C-2-13, Commercial
Second Height District.
The enactment of this Ordinance being necessary to the immediate preservation of
public business and to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department,
it is declared to be an emergency measure, which shall have and take effect following its
present reading and adoption.
READ, PASSED AND ADOPTED by unanimous vote, this 9th day of July, 1973.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED
AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGE-
TOWN , TEXAS, ON THE 12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING
ZONING DISTRICT MAP, AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A
PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE
ALL OF LOTS 1 AND 2 AND THE EAST 38 FEET OF LOTS NOS.
7 AND 8, BLOCK 9 OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN FROM
R -S SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO RM -3, MULTIPLE FAMILY DIS-
TRICT (3) , AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of
changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate;
BEING all of Lots Nos. 1 and 2 and the East 38 feet of Lots Nos. 7 and 8, Block 9
of the City of Georgetown and being partly the property conveyed by Karen Trefell Stan-
ford and husband, Kenneth Stanford to L. M. Lawson by Deed dated August 14, 1972,
recorded in Vol. 553, Page 562, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, and being
partly the property conveyed by Floyd B. Lackey, et al, to L. M. Lawson, by Deed dated
August 14, 1972, recorded in Vol. 553, Page 560, Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the propsed change in the Zoning
Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and rep-)rf and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning
Ordinance on the above described property form "R -S" Residential Single Family District
to "RM -3" Multiple Family District (3), Which said decision was reached by the City
Planning Commission after haveing had a hearing on said matter on June 19, 1973 at 7:30;
