The enactment of this Ordinance being necessary to the immediate preservation of public business and to provide for the usual daily operation of a commercial enterprise which shall have and take effect following its second reading and adoption. First Reading: Read, passed and adopted by unanimous vote, this 11th day of March, 1974. Second Reading: Read, passed and adopted by unanimous vote, this 8th day of April, 1974. Crawford, May i of SUPPLEMENTAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS AND THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, WITH RESPECT TO THE SOUTH SAN GABRIEL URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT NO. TEX R-102 etown This supplemental agreement is made and entered into on the 11th day of March, 1974, by and between the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, Texas (hereinafter called and referred to as the "Agency") and the City of Georgetown, a municipal Corp- oration (hereinafter called and referred to as the "City"), supplementing the Cooperation Agreement dated September 8, 1969, A.D., by and between the Agency and the City. WHEREAS, rising costs have resulted in increased project cost; and WHEREAS, those revised costs make changes necessary in the financing plan of the South San Gabriel Project; NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION -OF -MUTUAL CONVENANTS HEREAFTER SET FORTH the Agency and the City agree as follows: Lines 6, 8, and 9 of the fifth paragraph on page o f the Cooperation Agreement are changed to read as follows: (1) A Project Temporary Loan in the amount of $4,867,899.00 (3) A Relocation Grant in an amount not to exceed the sum of $1,556,706.00 (4) A Rehabilitation Grant in an amount not to exceed the sum of $45,500.00 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and the Agency has caused these presents to be executed by the Mayor and the Chairman, respectively, and has caused the signature of such offices to be attested and the seal of such respective public bodies to be affixed on the date hereinabove first provided.
