NOW THEREFORE And Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, be amended
so that the property described above shall be and the some is hereby removed from "Cl Local
Commercial District" to "C2B Commercial Second Height".
The enactment of this Ordinance being necessary to the immediate preservation of
public business and to provide for the usual daily operation of a commercial enterprise which
shall have and take effect following its second reading and adoption.
First Reading: Read, Passed and Adopted by unanimous vote, this 8th day
of April, 1974.
Second Read: Read, Passed and Adopted by unanimous vote, this 13th day of May,
1974.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF
CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF , THE CITY OF GEORGE-
TOWN, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF. CERTAIN
TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 76.92 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH
SAID TERRLTORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS
THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMIT OF THE CITY OF GEORGE-
TOWN, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed
annexation of that certain tract of land located in Williamson County, Texas, consisting of
76.92 acres, was held at City Hall on the 28th day of March, 1974, which date is not more
than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the institution of annexation proceedings; and
WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper having general
circulation in the City of Georgetown, Texas, and in the above described territory on the 14th
day of March, 1974, which date is not more than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the date
of such public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the total corporate area of the City of Georgetown, Texas, on the first day
of January, 1974, was 3119 acres; and
-WHEREAS, the population of the City of Georgetown, Texas, is 6395 inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, the above described territory lies within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of
the City of Georgetown, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the above described territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the City of George-
town, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the above described territory contains 76.92 acres; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS:
