laborers, workmen and mechanics employed in the construction of public works and the
general prevailing rate in the City of Georgetown may be obtained from the office of the
City Manager of the City of Georgetown. In general, these wage rates are as follows:
For skilled workers $5.25 Maximum per hour
For semi -skilled workers 2.00 Minimum per hour
For overtime work one and one-half times scale
Holidays extra pay under such circumstances
NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that it is the intention of the City of Georgetown to pay all
or a part of the contract price of such work by the issuance and delivery of interest
bearing time warrants in the amount of $22,500.00 to be authorized by the City Council
on the 16th day of May, 1974, for the purpose of evidencing the indebtedness of the City
of Georgetown to be incurred in the payment of such work above described to be performed
on the community building located in the San Gabriel Park, City of Georgetown, and for
all expenses necessary and incidental thereto; said warrants to bear interest at a rate not
to exceed 5-3,14% per year on the unpaid balance and shall have a maximum maturity
date not later than five (5) years from date. The City has made arrangements for the con-
tractor to dispose of the warrants herein mentioned at par value to the Citizens State
Bank of Georgetown, Texas, and the contractor must agree to deliver the warrants at
such pricd to the Citizens State Bank of Georgetown, Texas.
Given pursuant to resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, on the 30th day of Apri I, 1974.
