BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority,
on th's day personally appeared W. L. Walden, City Secretary of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, known to me to be the person and official whose name is subscribed to the foregoing
instrument, and acknowledged to me that he executed the same for the purposes and
consideration therein expressed, and in the capacity therein stated.

Resolution Declaring Result of Election

U State of Texas
U City of Georgetown
On this the 29th day of August, 1974, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
convened in Special Session at the regular designated meeting place in the City with the follow-
ing members present, to wit:
Joe E. Crawford Mayor
Harry Gold
Hubert Brock
Dee W. Scott Counci Imen
J. D. Wininger
William Eanes
W. L. Walden City Secretary
and the following absent: None.
A quorum being present and after the following resolution was read, Councilman Wininger
moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brock. The motion, carrying with
it the adoption of this resolution, prevailed by the following vote:
AYES: 'Gold, Brock, Scott, Wininger and Eanes;
NOES: None.
The Resolution is as follows:
WHEREAS, each and all of the members of the City Council of said City was duly and
sufficiently notified, officially and personally, in advance, of the time,place and purpose
of this meeting; and
WHEREAS, there came to be considered the returns of an election held in the City on
August 29, 1974, for the purpose of submitting the following propositions to the voters of said
City for their action thereupon:
WHEREAS, it appearing from the returns, duly and lawfully made, that there were cast at
the election, where all resident qualified voters of the City voted, valid and legal votes as
follows:
PROPOSITION FOR 599 AGAINST 164
IT IS THEREFORE FOUND, DECLARED AND SO RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
THAT a majority of the resident qualified voters, voted for the proposition.
