HomeMy WebLinkAbout0434_429429 THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF WI LLIAMSON WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown desires to upgrade its law enforcement services to the benefit and safety of its citizens; and WHEREAS, the some City understands that the proposed Law Enforcement Radio System, that has been designed with the support and acceptance of the Governor's Office, Texas Criminal Justice Council, was developed as a part of a statewide police radio system to upgrade law enforcement services and improve public safety; and WHEREAS, THE some City wishes to thank the Governor and his staff for providing much needed support in law enforcement communications; THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City of Georgetown by an act of its Council set aside some $742.75 to provide cash match to meet grant requirements and which will be sent to the Capital Area Planning Council upon acceptance and funding by the Governor's Office, Texas Criminal Justice Council. e E. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on the 29th day of November, 1974, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown received bids on the following parcels situated in the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Addition (South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Project Tex R -102)i as follows: PARCEL NAME AMOUNT OF BID MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE PRICE M-14 Thomas G. Foust, Jr. $1,050.00 $1,000.00 R- 6 Thomas G. Foust, Jr. 1,100.00 1,050.00 WHEREAS, an executed copy of said Resolutions were forwarded to the City Council on the 9th day of December, 1974, by the Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown for approval of the price and conditions of the proposed sale of said property; and WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, acting by and through its Executive Director, has recommended acceptance of said bid; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds nothing objectionable concerning the price and conditions of said bid as submitted, and the recommendation of the Board of Commissioners of the Urban Renewal Agency is accepted; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN: That the price and conditions set forth in the above bids of Thomas G. Foust, Jr. is hereby approved, for the purchase of parcels M-14, and R-6, in the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Project Area No. Tex R-102. ADOPTED: December 9, 1974 ATTEST: . L.
