This district shall be zoned "H" and shall be subject to the provisions of this ordinance
as hereabove appearing.
Section VII: Other Historical Districts or Sites.
(a) Any person or entity may request a istorical zoning designation for property owned
by such person or entity by submitting an application in triplicate therefor to the City Manager
or his designated agent stating the following:
(1) Name and permanent mailing address of applicant
(2) Location of the property
(3) The reasons for requesting the historical district or site designation
(b) Upon receipt of such application the City Manager shall submit one copy of such
application to the City Zoning Commission Chairman and Historical Preservation Committee
Chairman who shall present and review the application in a joint session of the City Zoning
Commission and Historical Preservation Committee at the next regularly scheduled meeting
of the City Zoning Commission. A majority vote of the members of both the City Zoning
Commission and Historical Preservation Committee, combined, shall confirm or reject such
application. Upon confirmation the applicant shall present the historical zoning designation
ordinance to the City Council for approval following the procedure set forth therefor under
other City Zoning Ordinance requirements. Should such application be rejected, applicant
may appeal the same to the City Council as heretofore set forth in Section IV (f) hereof.
(c) The City Council may, in cooperation with the Historical Preservation Committee,
designate any property within the citylimits as a historical site or district if within the
discretion of the City Council such property is deemed to have historical, cultural, arch-
aeological or educ ational value which reflects the heritage of the community.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
That, K. C. Coonrod and Carey McAdams, Owners of the hereon described subdivision to be
known as Georgetown South, Phase One, are hereby authorized to file for record in the
Office of the County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas, the plat of said subdivision attached
hereto, and the County Clerk of Williamson County, is hereby authorized to file for record
this plat of land.
