A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS, ACCEPTING A DEED EXECUTED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND SECRETARY
OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, CONVEYING THE PROPERTY
DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO, TO THE MAYOR AND MEM-
BERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
AND THEIR SUCCESSORS IN OFFICE; AND AGREEING THAT SUCH PROPERTY
SHALL BE DEVOTED TO PUBLIC PURPOSES ONLY AND NO OTHER.
WHEREAS, a Resolution was adopted on April 13, 1968, by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas, approving the Urban Renewal Plan; and
WHEREAS, said Urban Renewal Plan calls for certain portions of land to be dedicated
to the Public; and
WHEREAS, the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto is a portion of that
property to be dedicated to the Public; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, deems it advisable to
accept a deed executed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Commissioners
of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, conveying such property described
in Exhibit "A" hereto attached, to the Mayor and the Members of the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, and their successors in office; and to agree that such property shall
be devoted to public purposes only and no other; now therefore be it
9- RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:

That the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, does hereby accept a
deed executed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Commissioners of the Urban
Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, conveying the property described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto, to the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of George-
town, and their successors in office, and does hereby agree that such property shall be
devoted to public purposes only and no other.
