RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN:
SECTION 1. That the certain agreement dated March 9, 1976 between the State of Texas
and the City of Georgetown, for the installation, construction, existence, use, operation,
and maintenance of certain highway traffic signal (s) at the location (s) shown on EXHIBIT 1,
attached hereto and made a part hereof, in the City of Georgetown, be and the some is hereby
approved, and Mayor Scott is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of said
city and to transmit the some to the State of Texas for appropriate action.
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.

Loop 418 at Station 682+00 for North bound traffic
Loop 418 at Station 694+00 for South bound traffic

AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A PORTION OF A CITY STREET PRESENTLY KNOWN
AS DAWN DRIVE TO GOLDEN OAKS DRIVE, DIRECTING CITY MANAGER TO TAKE
APPROPRIATE MEASURES TO AFFECTUATE THE CHANGE IN NAME.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
That the Street lying within the Corporate limits of the said City which has been and
presently designated as "Dawn Drive" in said City of Georgetown, said portion of the street
beginning at Williams Drive (RM 2338) and running in a Northeasterly direction where it
intersects Golden Oaks Drive and being the same street which has been and is now. known
and otherwise as "Dawn Drive" shall hereafter be known and designated by signs and otherwise
as "Golden Oaks Drive" and
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the City Manager of the City of Georgetown shall do
all things necessary and expedient to affectuate the aforesaid change in the name of Dawn
Drive to Golden Oaks Drive.
PASSED on the first reading this 9th day of February, 1976, by a unanimous vote of
all members of the Council.
PASSED on the second and final reading this 8th day of March, 1976, by a unanimous
vote of all members of the Council.
