A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
APPROVING A VARIANCE, REGARDING ITEMS LISTED AS EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED
HERETO, OF THE REVISED SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE AS IT AFFECTS THE URBAN
RENEWAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of April, 1975, the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, approved a revised subdivision ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan for the South San Gabriel Project, Tex R-102, had
been previously approved regarding its plans for redevelopment in the Project Area; and
. WHEREAS, certain requirements of the revised subdivision ordinance pertaining to the
following items listed as Exhibit "A" attached hereto, are not considtent with the Urban
Renewal Plan; and
WHEREAS, because of the approval of the Urban Renewal Plan prior to the approval
of the such revised subdivision ordinance, and because the enforcement of the items listed in
Exhibit "A" would cause undue hardship on the Urban Renewal Agency, the Planning and
Zoning Commission of the City of Georgetown has heretofore passed and adopted a Resolution
wherein such Commission approved a variance regarding such items listed in Exhibit "A",
and has recommended similar approval by this Council; now therefore be it
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the following
items of the revised subdivision ordinance listed as Exhibit "A" attached hereto, should not be
strictly enforced to the Urban Renewal Plan, and that a variance is hereby approved.

EXHIBIT "A"
Section 4 - Procedure
4.01 - Preliminary Plat
2.d. Topographical information with contour lines at two (2) foot intervals.
4.d. The location of building lines, alleys and easements.
5. Key Map. A key map showing relation of subdivision to well-known streets in all
directions to a distance of at least one (1) mile.
4.02 - Final Plat
3.a. The name and property lines of adjoining subdivisions and of the adjacent property
owners, together with the respective plat or deed reference.

5.02 - Lots
3. Minimum Width. Sixty (60) feet at building line. Radial lots to have a minimum of
fifty 50 feet at the front property line and sixty (60, feet at and for a distance of
thirty (30) feet behind the building line.
