RESOLUTION CONFIRMING CONTRACT BETWEEN CITY OF GEORGETOWN AND
M. H. BRADEN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of April, 1976, at a meeting of the City Council of the City
of Georgetown a motion was made by City Councilman William H. Luedecke III that the City
of Georgetown enter into a contract for the construction of a fire station with M. H. Braden
Construction Company; and
WHEREAS, at said meeting the newly elected Council members had qualified as members
of the City Council and that the recent election had been canvassed and the winning candidates
had taken their oaths of office; and
WHEREAS, there is a question as to the propriety and validity of such motion and in
order to confirm said contract and to eliminate all uncertainty as of the validity thereof:
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown that
the contract for the construction of the fire station in Northwest Georgetown dated the 2nd.
day of April, 1976 is hereby affirmed and confirmed insofar as the execution thereof is concerned.
READ AND PASSED this 10th day of May, 1976.

CERTIFICATE FOR RESOLUTION EXERCISING OPTION PURCHASE
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON
CITY OF GEORGETOWN
We, the undersigned officers of said City, hereby certify as follows:
1. The City Council of said City convened in regular MEETING ON THE 10th DAY
OF MAY, 1976, at the city Hall, and the roll was called of the duly constituted officers
and members of the said City Council, to -wit:
John Doerfler ,
J. D. Wininger
D. W. Scott
Carl Doering
Harry Gold
William Shell
and all of said persons were present, except the tollowing absentees: None, thus constituting
a quorum. Whereupon, among other business, the following was transacted as said Meeting:
a written RESOLUTION EXERCISING OPTION TO PURCHASE was duly introduced for
the consideration of said City Council and read in full. It was then duly moved and seconded
that said Resolution be adopted; and, after due discussion, said motion, carrying with it
the adoption of said Resolution, prevailed and carried by the following vote:
AYES: All members of said City Council shown present above voted "Aye."
NO ES: None.
