General Manager of Brazos River Authority, and it is hereby requested that the Authority
fix the date of redemption of the aforesaid bonds to be as soon as practicable, and that the
City be notified of such date forthwith.
Section 3. That prior to said date fixed for redemption, the City shall make the necessary
redemption price available to the Authority in current and immediately useable funds, in
such manner as will enable the Authority to use funds for redeeming said bonds on said date.
Section 4. That the City requests, in accordance with the aforesaid Contract, that
immediately after said bonds have been redeemed, the Authority shall duly execute a con-
veyance conveying all of its right, title, and interest in and to the Project to the City.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF AN APPLICATION FOR MATCHING
FUNDS UNDER THE "701" PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT PROGRAM, AS
AMENDED BY TITLE IV OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the "701" Planning and Management Program, as amended by Title IV of
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 makes grants available to local govern-
ments to cover two-thirds (2/3) of the cost of approved planning and management activities
and,
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Community Affairs is the State of Texas agency
designated to approve applications for "701" Planning and Management Grant Funds and
has issued an invitiation for the Mayor of the City of Georgetown, Texas to make such a
request and,
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas has in past years used "701" Planning and
Management Grant Funds to develop long range plans and programs.
BE IT RESOLVED, therefore that the City of Georgetown, Texas is authorized to file
an application for "701" Planning and Management Assistance in response to the invitation
issued by the Texas Department of Community Affairs, and to indicate that local matching
funds are available.
PASSED THIS 8th DAY OF JUNE, 1976.
