On this day at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
a resulution was proposed which was seconded and which was approved and adopted by a
majority vote of the councilmen, the resolution being as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas has been notified by District 14 of the State of
Texas Department of Highway and Public Transportation that there exists an easement for
drainage adjacent to the rights of way for R. M. Highway 2338 and Loop 418 which is no
longer needed for drainage purposes; and
WHEREAS, it is the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation's policy to dispose
of thier interest in such drainage easements wherever possible; and
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas offers no objection to the State of Texas relin-
quishing their interest in this drainage easement to Franchise Realty Interstate Corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown that
the City of Georgetown, Texas is agreeable to and requests that the State of Texas quit -claim
their interest to Franchise Realty Interstate Corporation in all of the State's right in an easement
for drainage contained in a right of way deed dated October 31, 1956 as recorded in Volume 416,
,,v Page 56 of the Williamson County Deed Records, save and except a tract containing 0.1303 acres
r— contained within the existing right of way of R.M. Highway 2338, provided this meets the
�v- requirements of the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation.

FIELD NOTES:
Being all of the State's right in an easement for the use of such additional right of way as may
be deemed necessary by the Highway Engineer to construct and maintain all inlets, outlets,
channels and ditches for drainage as described in a right of way deed dated October 31, 1956 and
recorded in Volume 416, Page 56 of the Williamson County Deed Records; however, nothing
herein shall be contrued to affect the State's right, title, and interest to the following described
tract of land:
BEGINNING at a point in the existing northwest right of way line of Loop 418 (also known as
old U. S. Highway 81), said point being 50.00 ft. northwest of and at right angles to a point
of tangency at Engineer's Centerline Station 632+61.20 of Loop 418;
THENCE S 37018' W along the existing northwest right of way line of Loop 418 a distance
of 72.00 ft. to the point of intersection of the existing northwest right of way line of Loop 418 and the
existing west right of way line of R. M. Highway 2338;
THENCE N3013' W along the existing west right of way line of R. M. Highway 2338 a distance
of 81.00 ft.;
THENCE N 52012' W along the existing southwest rightof way line of R. M. Highway 2338
a _distance of 52.96 ft.;
THENCE S 86024' E a distance of 138.92 ft. to a point in the existing northwest right of way
