No applicant for an electrician's license who has failed to pass his second examination shall be examined again until the expiration of six (6) months thereafter and for his third examination he shall be required to pay an additional examination fee according to the following schedule: Master electrician $15.00 Journeyman electrician 15.00 Building mainteance electrician 7. 50 Sec. -28. Same --Third. No applicant for an electrician's license who has failed to pass three (3) or more examinations shall be examined again until the expiration of nine (9) months following the date of his last examination and, for each such examination, he shall be required to pay an additional examination fee according to the following schedule: Master electrician Journeyman electrician Building Maintenance electrician Sec. - 29. Permanent address. y Each holder of an electrical license of provisions of this article shall furnish the permanent post office address. Sec. - 30. Fees. $25.00 15.00 15. 00 any class issued by the city under the city electrical inspector with =his Licenses to be issued under the provisions of this article shall be issued only after the payment and collection of the following fees: Class Original Renewal Electrical contractor $100.00 $50.00 Master electrician 30.00 15.00 Journeyman electrician 10.00 5.00 Apprentice electrician 2.50 1.00 Building maintenance electrician 10.00 5.00 Sec. - 31. Issuance. When an applicant for a license required by the provisions of this article has fully complied with all provisions of this article, the board shall cause to be issued to such applicant the license applied for. Sec. - 32. Expiration. Every license issued under the provisions of this article shall expire on the thirty-first (31st) day of December following the date of issuance. Sec. - 33. Renewal. Each licensee under the provisions of this article shall be entitled to renew his license upon the payment of the renewal fee set forth in section 30, provided such payment is made on or before the expiration date. In the event such licensee fails to renew his license on or before the expiration date thereof, he may be required to pay the full fee and take such examination as required for the original issuance of the license. The Board may from time to time establish grace periods for activating expired licenses based on a hearing of the circumstances causing the late renewal, however, if such a grace period is granted the applicant will be required to pay the original license fee.
