Boydston, Clerk of the County Court and Ex -Officio Clerk of the Commissioners' Court of Williamson County, Texas, do hereby certify that at a Regular Session of the Commissioners' Court of said County, held on the 14th day of May A. D. 1979, among other proceedings of said Court, the following proceeding was entered of record: COMMISSIONFPS' COURT MINUTES WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS May 14, 1979 A RFSOLUTION STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON 'vm e U Pad � sj l Pursuant to law, the Commissioners' Court of Williamson County, Texas, convened in a Regular Session on the 14th day of May, 1979, at their regular meeting place in the County Courthouse in Georgetown, Texas, with the followinq members present: C. L. Chance, County Judge Carl Lidell, Commissioner, Precinct One Wesley Foust, Commissioner, Precinct Two Raymond Rister, Commissioner, Precinct Three Jerry MehevPc, Commissioner, Precinct Four and being five mewl)ers and a quorum, among other proceedings, found that: WHEREAS, over two -hundred (200) property owners between the incorporated cities of Leander and Georgetown have petitioned to be included in the extra -territorial jurisdictions, of those respective cities, and WHEREAS, Article 970-A V.C.S. requires contiguity of the land the subject of such a petition, and WHEREAS, in County road 176, County road 175 from Farm to Market road 2243 to County road 177, and County road 271 from Farm to Market road 2243 to County road 178, lie along the oath of the land the subject of the said petition, NOW THEREFORE, be it ORDERED, ADJUDGED, and DECREED in the interests of and supporting the desires of its constituents and through and by virtue of whatever right, title or interest if any, Williamson County possesses in or to said property, that Williamson County petitions the respective incorporated cities to include in its extra -territorial Jurisdiction the herein above mentioned County roadways. County road 176 petitioned to be included in the Georgetown extra -territorial jurisdiction; County roads 175 from Farm to Market road 2243 to County road 177, and County road 271 from Farm to Market road 2243 to County road 178, to be petitioned to be included in the Leander extra -territorial jurisdiction. WHEREUPON, on motion of Carl E. Lidell, seconded by Wesley 0. Foust, all members of the Commissioners' Court voted for the Resolution and none voted against it; the Resolution passing, County Judge, C. L.
