OF CITIZENS PARTICIPATION FOR THE
CITY OIi' GEORGETOWN TO PROVIDE
FOR ANSWERING COMPLAINTS AND TO
PROVIDE FOR BILINGUAL OPPORTUNITIES
AT PUBLIC HEARINGS.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas, did adopt a Citizens
Participation Plan by resolution on April 11, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the above mentioned plan did not expressly provide for
answering complaints or providing bilingual opportunities at public
hearings; Now therefore be it `
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown that
nrticle V of the Georgetown Citizens Participation Plan be amended to
add the following sections:
Section 7 - Complaints received by the Citizens Advisory
Commission shall be answered in a timely and efficient manner..
The Commission shall provide written response to any formal'
complaint within 15 working days.
Section 8 - Whenever required or requested, bilingual
opportunities shall be made available at public hearings.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of February, 1980.
