APPROVAL OF VACATION OF SUBDIVISION PLAT The above described subdivision plat of RIVER OAKS SUBDIVISION recorded in Cabinet D, slide 262-263 of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, was submitted to and approved by the Planning Commission and City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, acting by and through its mayor. The Georgetown City Council is the governing body of the City of Georgetown, and its action approv- ing said subdivision plat was taken pursuant to the authority And provisions of Article 974, Vernons Annotated Texas Statutes. Walter R. Carrington owns and has all legal and equitable interests in said subdivision required by law to enable him with the approval of the City Council of Georgetown, Texas, to vacate and destroy the force and effect of such subdivision plat, and have appeared and requested this City Council, the governing body of Georgetown, Texas, pursuant to the provisions of Article r974 (a), Section 5, V.A.T.S., to approve the vacation of said subdivision :z7 plat so as to destroy the force and effect of the recording of such plat, and J ' to abandon all easements in on or across the subdivision, EXCEPT for the Public Utilities Easements which shall survive and continue in tact. This City Council, the governing body of Georgetown, Texas, has, as a body, expressed its desire to grant and approve this vacation. NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the City Council of the City of'Georgetown, Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Mayor, for and in consideration of the foregoing, does hereby approve the vacation of the subdivision known as RIVER OAKS SUBDIVISION , the plat of which is recorded in Cabinet D, Slide 262-263 of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, with the intention to destroy the force and effect of the recording of such,plat so vacated, EXCEPT for the Public Utilities Easements which shall survive and continue in tact.
