HomeMy WebLinkAbout0346_31182_10 311 AN ORDINANCE CONFERING UPON THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN GENERAL AUTHORITY TO CONTRACT FOR EXPENDITURES WITHOUT FURTHER APPROVAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAID CITY FOR ALL BUDGETED ITEMS NOT EXCEEDING TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00). WHEREAS, Section 6.11 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Georgetown provides that the City Council of said city may by ordinance confer upon the city manager general authority to contract for expenditures without further approval of the Council for all budgeted items not exceeding Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00); and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown deems that it is in the best interest of said City that the City Manager have such authority, now, w therefore, co BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN Q that the City Manager of said City has general authority to contract for Q expenditures without further approval of the Council for all budgeted items not exceeding Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00).
