(e) The parade is not to be held for the sole purpose of
advertising any product or goods and is not designed to be held
purely for private profit.
(f) The parade i s of sufficient interest to the general public
as to justify the temporary closing of the public roadways to
vehicles and pedestrians.
(g) The applicant has provided a general liability insurance
policy for the event in the amount of $300,000 or in a greater
amount of coverage should the Council deem it necessary.
(h) The applicant has provided a cash deposit in the amount
required by the Council not less than $250.00 to insure the
cleanup of any litter, trash, garbage or other material from the
streets and areas adjacent to the route or location of the event.
(i) The applicant has complied with any other special conditions
imposed by the City Council or other authorized official for the
issuance of a parade permit.
00 Section 9. Each parade permit shall state the following
CD information pursuant to the application as may have been mo difie d
by the City Council.

Q (a) Dates and times covered by the permit.
(b) Routes to be traversed or location and streets to be
blocked.
(c) Any special conditions imposed by the City Council.
(d) Approximate number of participants.
Section 10. The Parade Chairman or other person heading o r
leading such activity shall carry the parade permit upon his
person during the duration of the parade and exhibit it upon
demand of any city official.
Section 11. It shall be unlawful for any person
participating in any parade, for which a permit hereunder has
been issued, to fail to comply with all directions and conditions
of said permit and all applicable laws and ordinances.
Section 12. Penalties. Any person, firm, association of
persons, corporation, or every other organization violating any
provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction shall be subject to a fine not exceeding two
hundred ($200.00) dollars.
'Section 13.
Severability.
If any
section, sub -section,
paragraph, sentence,
clause, phrase
or word
in this ordinance or
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of the ordinance and the City Council hereby
