BB IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the city of Georgetown,
Texas.
Section 1. That John R1 Allen and L. Marshall of Georgetown,
Williamson County, Texas, their assooistes, successors and assigns,
are hereby granted the right to lay# construct, maintain and oiler-,
ate sewerage mains and pipes, conduits of brick, sewers, manholes,
catch basins, etc., in the streets and alleys of the City of George-
town, Texas, for the purpose of laying, constructing, maintaining,
operating and extending a good and efficient system of sanitary
sewer e, for public and private use in said City for a term of
Fifty 50) years rovided that on August 13th, 19099 and each
successive Five 153years thereafter, the city of Georgetowns shall
have the right and privilege to purchase said system of sewerage
by giving written notice to said John R. Allen and L. Marshall,
their associates, successors and assigns, of its intention so to
do, at least three months before said 13th, day of August,1909,
pr the expiration of such Five (5) years; the value or price to
be paid by the City of Georgetown for sais system of sewerage
shall be determined by appraisement in the following manner,to-wits
The said John. R. Allen and Le Marshall, their associates,
successors and assigns, shall appoint and designate one person,
who resides in Williamson County, Texas as an appraiser and the
City of Georgetown shall appoint one person, who resides in Will-
iamson County, Texas, as an appraiser, and the Two appraisers thus
appointed shall select a Third person as an appraiser, such third
person thus chosen may reside anywhere in the State of Texasp and
the Three appraisers thus selected shall constitute a commission
to determine the reasonable value of Siad system of sewerage..
The Two appraisers first mentioned shall each be selected and
notice of such selection given within Thirty (30) days after the
giving of the written notice hereihbefore provided for, and the
