HomeMy WebLinkAbout0329_0004(Page 2­1914 Tax Levy) unpaid bonds issued for tke purpose of constructing a water works plant in the City of Georgetown, Texas, as shown by ordinance of t:kis City, passed and apFroverd on October 19th, 1910,and as pro- vided in said ordinance, there is here and noir levied and shall to selleoted for the year of 1914, an annual ad valorem tax of 12 sents on the $100.00 assessed valuation for the year of 1914, of all real and personal property and estate in the City of George- town, Texas, not exempt from taxation by tke Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas, and the amount of taxrs collected under tieo provisions of this Section shall constitute a special fund and skall be used for no other purpose than that herein speo- ified. Seo. 6. That to pay the interest and create a sinking fund dZa meet the $13500.00 in bonds of this City, known as "City of Georgetown Flectria Light Bonds" as evidenced by 13 $1000.00 un- paid bonds, issued for t'ke purpose of constructing an electrics light plant in the City of Georgetown,, Texas, as shown by ordi- nance of thisC.ity, passed and approved on October 18tk:, 1910,and as provided in said ordinance, tkere is here and now levied and shall be collected for tete year of 1914,an annual ad valorem tax of Five Cents on the $100.00 assessed valuation for the year of :.. 19149 of all real and personal property and estate in the City of Georgetown, Texas, not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and Laves of the State of Texas, and the amount of taxes collected under the provisions of this Section shall constitute a special fund and shall be used for no other purpose than that herein sloe- ified. That to pay they interest and create a sinking fund to meet the $13500.00 in bonds of this City, known as "City of Georgetown Water Works Bonds, Second Series" as evidenced by twenty-seven $500.00 unpaid bonds, issued for the purpose of can- plating t3ce water works plant in said City, as shown by ordinance o of this City, passed and approved on Decamher 8th, 1913, and as provided in said Ordinance, there It kers and now levied and shall be oollected for the year of 1914, an annual ad valorem tax of Five Cents on the $100.00 assessed valuation for the year of 1914, of all real and personal property and estate in the City of George- tow►n, Texas, not exempt frcaa taxation by tke Constitution and Laves of the State of Texas, and the amount of taxes collected un- der the provisions of this Section, shall constitute a special fund and shall be used for no other purpose than that herein spec- if ied . Seo. S. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Cita of Georgetown, Texas, in conflict herewith, be and the same are kereby repealed.
