HomeMy WebLinkAbout0130_0016Section 191-8 'Every building hereafter erected, altered or enlarged within the Fire Limits, shall be en- closed on all sides with walls constructed wholly of stone, well burned brick, or reinforced concrete, and shall have the roof, also the roof and sides of all roof strictures, covered with incumbustible material. All cornices shall be of incombustible material. Section 191-0 No structure whose walls are wholly, or in part, constructed of wood, shall, hereafter, be built or moved into the Fire Limits as herein designated or as they may hereafter be established, except as follows: (A) Temporary one story frame buildings for use of builders. (B) Small outhouses not exceeding 100 square feet in area and 8 feet in height, not located within 30 feet of any other building, nor within 5 feet of any lot or line. Any existing frame or iron-cl&d building within the Fire Limits, which may hereafter be damaged by fire, decay, or otherwise# to an amount greater than one half its present value exclusive of the foundation shall not be repaired or rebuilt, but shall be removed. Section 191-D Gas connections to stove and similar heating devices shall be made of rigid metal pipes. For small portable gas heating devices, flexible metal or rubber tubing may be used when there is no valve or other shut-off on the device. Section 191-E That this Ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances heretofore pa,sed on this subject, except wherein it conflicts with them, in which event this ordinance shall govern.
