Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that to pay off
and discharge the said Bonds as they shall mature, and to
pay the interest on same as it shall accruel a tax of ten
cente(10c) on each one hundred dollars($100.00) valuation
of all property in the said City, subject to taxation under
the Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas, for the
current year of 1941, and for each succeeding year thereafter
until said Bonds and interest are fully paid, is hereby levied,
and is hereby ordered assessed and collected for the purpose of
paying off and discharging the said Bonds and interest thereon,
and when so collected the same shall be a special fund for said
purpose alone, and shall be applied to no other purpose.
Section 7s It is further ordained by the City Council
of the said City that M. F. Smith, Mayor of the said City, and
his successors in office, shall be authorized to have said Bonds
printed, and have the possession of same until sold, and shall
have charge of all records and proceedings pertaining to procur-
ing opinion of the Attorney General and the registration by the
Comptroller, and shall do all things necessary to carry out the
purposes of this Ordinance.
Section St The fact that the United States is granting
Aid in the Acquisition of an Airport creates an emergency, and
public necessity, that the rules requiring Ordinances to be read
at three separate meetings be suspended, and such rules be sus-
pended, and this Ordinance at once pass, and that it take effect
immediately thereafter.
