RE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY" OF GEORGETOWN TEXA�t
That the compensation to be received by the ?Mayor and
Aldermen of the said city, to be eleoted at the next general City
810dtion, shall be an follows.:
That the %ayor of this City', for his services as such,
shall receive a emery of Your Hundred and Eighty Dollars (480too)
per year, paid in installments of -'orty Dollats (440.*00) each month.
That each alderman shall receive as compensation for his
services, Ton Dollars (410.,v O) per month.
The teat that it in Aeoeasarq to fix the opmsensation
of the above tamed officer prier to their election creates an em-
orgnaoy and public necessity that the rules pertaining to the
reading of ordinances at abperste meetings be suspended, and It is
ordered that the same be suspended and that this ordineea be at
once easoed and that it take effect form and after its passage.
