AN ORDINANCE CONDITIONALLY AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE PASSED
AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
ON THE 12 TH DAY OF February 1968 , AMENDING A PART OF THE MAP OF
THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCEe TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY HEREIN DESCRIBED
FROM RS RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY, TOC-1 AND WITH USE REGULATIONS
AS HEREIN SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of changing the zoning ordinance on the follow-
ing described real estate:
BEING part of Block 16 of the GLASSCOCK"S ADDITION to the
City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and being
part of Tract 2 described in a Deed to Ralph Russell of
record in Volume 677► Page 845 of the Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas, and being further described by
metes and bounds as follows, to-wit�-
BEGINNING at a point 65' West from the Northeast corner
of Block 16,
THENCE South 75 feet for a S.E. corner,
THENCE West 55 feet for a S.W. corner
THENCE North 75 feet to the North line of said Block 16,
THENCE East 55 feet with said North line of said Block
to the point of BEGINNING, and
BEING that tract shown as "Proposed Zone Change" on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
WHEREAS, the applicant for such zoning change has request-
ed of said City that such change of zoning be made conditioned on
use of said tract only fore
1. Any use permitted in the "R-M" District.
Residential use of trailers and temporary
structures is prohibited.
2. Sale of goods and products at retail excepting
automobiles, trailers, mobile homes, motor-
cycles, farm equipment and machinery and earth-
moving and heavy construction equipment.
3. Shops for repair and servicing of bicycles,
typewriters, electrical, radio and television
appliances, keys and similar articles.
4. Dressmaking, millinery, tailoring, shoe repair,
laundry, dry cleaning and similar trades.
5. Offices and office buildings ( subject to Build-
ing Code limitations).
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has met and approved
the changing of said zoning ordinance on'the above described
property from RS Residential Single Family, to C-1 which said
meeting was held on the 6th day of November, 19841 and
WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of
the lots within two hundred (200) feet of the above described
property as required by lawn and
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of November, 1984, the Planning
- and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the requested
change by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
