The City Council met in regular session on the above date, A,:ayor Pro -Tem

Manager, Black read reports for the month of June and submitted bills in
the ariount of '646.07,i :lwotion by J. H. Compton and seconded by kennie Wilcox, Jr.
that reports be accepted and bills be paid.
Health unit presented the budget for year 1961-62. Georgetown contribution
for year $2,520.00 to be paid in 12 payments. On motion of Floyd Engvall, seconded
by Kennie Silcox, City accepts budget for ensuing year.
The following Resolution was offered requesting that the City adopt the fol-
lowing streets in University Park Addition, 15th. Street, Katherine Court, and
Eunice Court Street.

Williamson County, Texas, J. C. Coffee , Owner, filed Januar;a 31, 1939, recorded
in Volume 1, Page 140 , of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas% and
H TEAS, J. C. Coffee, Owner, dedicated and set aside for public use the
following streets% 15th Street, Katherine Court, and Punice Court , as his interest
appeared in said streets; and

117 -REAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas, has never accepted or approved said

The following resolution was adopted at a regular Meeting of the City
Council, City of Georgetown, Texas, on the 10th day of July, 1961s

11) That the Plat of "UN11TRSITY PARK", Georgetown, Williamson, County,
Texas, which was filed of record January 31,1939, and recorded in Volume 1, Page
140, Plat Records of +illiamson County, Texas, is in all things approved, the

dedication of the interest of J. C. Coffee in 15th Street, aunice Court, and
Katherine Court, is accepted subject to the following conditions:
(2) In accepting and approving said Plat, or 1"ap, the City Council of
the City of Georgetown, Texas, does not assume any obligation tot
(a) Grade, improve or maintain streets shown thereon unless and until
said City Council elects to do so.
(b) To construct J. build, or maintain a sewerage line on the streets
so dedicated. jhe owner of each lot shall bear all expenses in connecting
to present sewer lines, unless otherwise provided.
(c) The above also applies to the water lines.

Motion by J. H. Compton and seconded by Floyd EnCvall that resolution
be passed.
Said motion was duly carried and the resolution adopted.
First Reading
Zoning Ordinance was presented by A. ir. Hoyt, Jr. On ]Motion by Kennie YUileox, Jr.
and seconded by J. H. C Upton that ordinance be passed to its first reading and
rend by Caption. Roll call vote, J.yes, Ccmpton, Engvall, Wilcox, does- Vone.
Caption was read by A. Hoyt, Jr.
Vanage- Black read letter from citizens living near Junk Yard on West
15th Street stating that it was creating health haz4rd. Council suggested that
10'anager Black contact City health Dr. Martin a -d Mr. Teer State Health Inspector
about above matter.
Council suggested that LTRnager Black contact Yr. Farris State Highway
EnCineer about possibility of getting traffic Light a'n'd 12th & Church Sts.
