The City of Georgetown Civil Service Commission met on May 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Georgetown City
Hall Second Floor Conference Room, 113 E.8' St., Georgetown TX. 78626.
In attendance were; Elliott Harper, Tadd Phillips, Celina Morales, Jeff Davis, Commissioners Gordon
Pierce, Hank Michel, Luis R. Zamot
Call to Order at 1:00 p.m.
Regular Session
(This Regular session may, at any time, be recessed to convene an Executive Session for any purpose
authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code 551).
A. Approval of minutes from May 14t", 2018 Commission Meeting
a. Motion by Commissioner Michel, 2nd by Commissioner Zamot, Approved 3-0
B. Discussion and possible action to certify Firefighter/Paramedic Entry Eligibility List
a. Motion to approve by commissioner Zamot, 2" by Commissioner Michel, Approved 3-0
C. Update to Commission related to Civil Service Items by Civil Service Director
a. Tadd informed Commission that there were multiple vacancies we hoped to fill with this
list. Couple of positions coming open in Police to be filled from the active list. Chief
Sullivan outlined the panel interview process.
D. Adjourn
a. Motion by Commissioner Pierce, 2nd by Commissioner Michel, Approved 3-0
