HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 12.11.1984 - Meeting Frequency43a A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE FREQUENCY OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS The City of Georgetown has experienced tremendous growth in the very recent past, and WHEREAS _ The amount of pressing issues created by such growth cannot be addressed in a single regular council meeting a month, and WHEREAS The needs of the citizens will be better served by the establishement of two regular meetings a month, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That beginning January 1, 1985, that the City Council of the City of Georgetown shall meet every second and fourth Tuesday of every month and these shall be regular council meetings.
