HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 09.08.1975 - Utility Rebate A RESOLUTION RESCINDING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A UTILITY REBATE TO SUBDIVIDERS WITHIN THE CIN OF GEORGETOWN. WHEREAS, heretofore by Ordinance enacted on July 8, 1971, at first reading and July 26, 1971, on second reading, the City of Georgetown enacted an Ordinance providing for a utility rebate to subdividers within the City of Georgetown, Texas, a copy of said Ordi nance is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes as if copied herein at length; and (See Ordinance Book 02 - Page # 252) WHEREAS, the Georgetown Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that such Ordinance be rescinded and that the funds formerly used in payment of the obligations created by virtue of said Ordinance be paid into a permanent park fund for use by said City on its parks; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That said Ordinance, copy of which is attached hereto as aforesaid is hereby RESCINDED: and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that hereafter the funds that would have been payable under said Ordinance shall be paid into the City of Georgetown's Permanent Park Fund for use by said City in connection with the acquisition, maintenance and construction of City parks. Said Resolution was passed by unanimous vote on this the 8th day of September, 1975. APPROVED AS TO FORM: City Attorney
