RESOLUTION PRESCRIBING AND SETTING ELECTRIC
BASE RATE SCHEDULE FOR THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, has recently enacted an ordinance captioned
"Garbage and Trash Ordinance";. and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance makes provision for the establishment of certain utility rates
and other charges by resolution;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the electric rates and related charges are
hereby established as follows:
'DOMESTIC USE
First 15 kwh, $1.00 net, (minimum bill). Next 35 kwh 4.5� each. Next 40 kwh, 3.5� each.
Next 110 kwh 1.8t each. Next 100 kwh 1.5� each. Balance kwh 1� each.
TOTAL ELECTRIC RATE
First 200 kwh, $4.00 net, (minimum bill). Next 300 kwh 2� each. Next 1,000 kwh 1� each.
Next 2000 kwh 8.5 mills each. Balance of kwh 9.5 mills each.
COMMERCIAL RATE
First 15 kwh, $1.00 net, (minimum bill). Next 35 kwh 5� each. Next 150 kwh 4.9� each.
Next 100 kwh 4� each. Next 900 kwh 3� each. Balance kwh 2� each.
LARGE COMMERCIAL RATE
First 2000 kwh 3� each. Next 5,000 kwh 1.8c each. Balance kwh 1.4� each. (No more
customers on this rate).
INDUSTRIAL RATE
First 10,000 kwh 1� each. Next 40,000 kwh 8 mills each. Balance kwh 7 mills each.
DEMAND METER: First 300 kw $1.40 each. Balance at $1.20 each.
CHURCH RATE
First 30 kwh 4� each. Balance of kwh at 2.7� each.

First 200 kwh $6.00 net, (minimum bill). Next 3800 kwh 3� each. Next 4000 kwh'2.5� each.
Next 6000 kwh 2� each. Balance kwh,1.5� each.
26.5% Base Rate increase and Fuel Adjustment as computed each month to be added to above

Read, adopted and approved by the City Council at a regular meeting held at the City Hall
in the City of Georgetown this the 10th day of March, 1975.
