The City Council at its regul&r September meeting by an order
agreed to temporarily take off all restrictions on the use of water
beEinning on Monday September 17, 1956.
Mr. l,. P. Guyton, Consulting Hydrologist, confirmed this option
until such a ti3-ae as the -water leyel in wells should again d rop be-
low our present levels then further restriction on the use of water
would have to be imposed.
The Council asks the cooperation of everyone in the conservation of
our water during this crucial period.

Ordinance regulating sprinkling was suspended.
Beginning Hand Sept. 17, 1956 the Ordinance will be suspended.

Beginning September 17, it will be lawful to use City water for
sprinkling until City Council directs otherwise.
