MEMBERS PRESENT: Stephanie Blanck, Rachel Cummins, Rita Healy, Karen Soeffker Christy Fisher, Jim Wilson MEMBERS ABSENT: Daniel Orozco STAFF PRESENT: Cari Miller, Marie Woodard, Marcy Renneberg, June Bakutis, Eric Lashley GUEST: None Chair Healy called the meeting to order at 8:33 a.m. Legislative Regular Session Discussion and possible action regarding approval of the March 14, 2019 minutes- Rita Healy, CVB Board Chair Motion by Fisher, second by Blanck to approve the March 14, 2019 minutes Approved 4-0 (Cummins and Soeffker arrived after vote was taken) 2. Report on conceptual ideas for City Center outdoor space — Eric Lashley, Library Director Lashley presented the ideas for the City Center and answered questions. No action taken. 4. Discussion and possible action to approve a Transportation Grant for the Texas Crime Prevention Association Conference - Cari Miller, Tourism Manager and Marie Woodard Group Sales and Servicing Coordinator After thorough review of the grant the following motion was made. Motion by Blanck, second by Wilson to approve the grant application for a maximum of $2,155. Approved 5-0 (Healy abstained) 4/15/19 5. Discussion and possible action regarding advertising and media exposure and dates of upcoming events - Cari Miller, Tourism Manager Miller reviewed advertising, media exposure and upcoming Red Poppy Festival.
