FELDER Counsellor Ministerial Students, Southwestern University. Rev. L. L. Felder 'Joins Staft at I �Je Soutwestern Well Known Minister Will Fill New Post As Student Counsellor Rev. L. L. Felder, who was pastor of the First Methodist church in 1 Taylor last year, was assigned to Southwestern University at the re- cent session of the Central Texas Conference as Counsellor for Minis-i terial Students, a new post establish- ed at the University. Rev. Felder and his family, con- sisting of Mrs. Felder, their daugh- ter, Mrs. Rex. Katheart and sonJ Rex, Jr,, who are making their home with her parents, while her husband is overseas, stationed at Manila, P.I., as an instructor in the Army's educa- tional program, arrived last week, and he is now organizing his work. Rev. Felder has a remarkable. chris- tian experience. In 1907 he was en- gaged in the railroad business, being a locomotive fireman in the Santa I Fe Railroad, with headquarters in Cleburne. He resigned his polition and entered Southwestern Univer- sity, receiving his degree with the class of 1911. He joined his confer- ence the year of his graduation and was assigned to Brazos Avenue Meth- cdist church, Cleburne, for his first charge. Since that time he has served 1, the following churches: Harbin,Blan-1: kett, Trinity Memorial, Fort Worth; Missouri Avenue, Fort Worth; Cen- tral church,Brownwood; First church, Waco; presiding elder of the Weath erf ord district; Boulevard church Waco; district superintendent of the Cleburne district, and last year First church, Taylor. He was married to Miss Mary Chadwick, of Georgetown, daughter of Mrs. A. B. Chadwick, and a sister of Mrs. Oscar Fahrentho1d, June 2, 1908. The many friends of the family welcome them back to Georgetown. I 93 ,
