Regular Session — To begin no earlier than 6:OOpm. Presentation of Animal Control trends — Angela Jone a. Officer Jones informed the Board that dogs at lar, calls in January and 52 in February. Bat season i! schools to remove bats from the premises. In addition to the spay/neuter clinic, the Shelter p rticipated in a Dachshund Wedding fundraising event at Pupology and adoption events at Wag Heaven. b. Upcoming events include adoption events at Pupollogy and Wag Heaven and an adoption event, Rescue at the Ranch, at Garey Park. A low-cost vaccination clinic will be held March 21. 7. Presentation of addition of beam counter to the Shi Services Manager (Board Liaison) a. The Shelter has purchased a beam counter that entering/leaving the shelter. A motion by Laura Klein Plunkett, seconded by Ned Atkins was unanimously approved by the board to continue the current meeting schedule: 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Animal Shelter, I I O W.L. Walden Drive. 11. Consideration and possible action to approve fee re update to current pricing — April Haughey, Animal from City Ordinance and -s Manager (Board Liaison) a. A detailed list of adoption, impoundment, licen various other fees for Georgetown compared to was presented to the Board. April Hauahev dis boarding, vaccination and. rounding comparable communities sed with the Board options to increase fees for some services to bring them more in line with other communities. The Board made several recommendations which may require ordinance changes. April will review the recommendations and present an updated list at a future Board meeting.
