The City of Georgetown Civil Service Commission met on August 6t'', 2019 at 5:00 PM at Georgetown
City Hall — Human Resources Conference Room — 808 Martin Luther King Jr. St. Georgetown, TX 78626
In attendance were; Commissioners Gordon Pierce & Luis R. Zamot; Tadd Phillips, Bill Pascoe, Craig
Murray, and Tracey Bousquet
Call to Order at 5:00 p.m.
Regular Session
(This Regular session may, at any time, be recessed to convene an Executive Session for any purpose
authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code 551).
A. Consideration and possible approval of minutes from May 20t'`, 2019 meeting
a. Motion to approve by Commissioner Gordon Pierce, 2"d Commissioner Luis Zamot, 2-0
B. Consideration and possible action to approve and certify Police Officer Exam Eligibility List
a. Motion to approve and certify Police Officer Exam Eligibility List for 6 months

C. Consideration and possible action to appoint Laura Maloy and Tracey Bousquet as Deputy Civil
Service Directors, both with the authority to act on behalf of the Civil Service Director as
designated

D. Update to Commission related to Civil Service items by Civil Service Director
a. Discussion on recruitment for 31 Civil Service Commissioner
b. Discussion on Police Department and Fire Department Meet and Confer Agreements
c. Discussion on 2020 Budget Process, 1 additional position for the Fire Department and 4
additional positions for the Police Department
d. Discussion on holding a Fire Department Entry Exam as the certified list has been
depleted
e. Discussion on Fire Stations 6 and 7
f. Discussion on Fire Department Promotional Processes
