OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS AND THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 8.445
ACRES OF LAND WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES
ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUND-
ARY LIMIT OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas. where all persons were provided
with an oportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation
of that certain tract of land held at City Hall on the 13th
day of November, 1980; and
WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City of
Georgetown, Texas, and in the above territory; and
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory lies within
the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown,
Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas:
Section 1. The following described land and territory lying
adjacent to and adjoining the City of Georgetown, Texas, is hereby
added and annexed to the City of Georgetown, Texas, and said
territory hereinafter described shall hereinafter be included
within the boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, and the present
boundary limits of such City at the various points contiguous to
the area hereinafter described, are altered and amended so as to include
said area within the corporate limits of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, to wit:
Being that certain tract and parcel of land
described on Exhibit A and Exhibit B attached
hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes.
Section 2. That certain tract and parcel of land described on
Exhibit A attached hereto and made apart hereof for all purposes is
annexed with the zoning designation of RM-1, and that certain tract
and parcel of land described on Exhibit B attached hereto and made a
part hereof for all purposes is hereby annexed with the zoning des-
ignation of R. S.
PASSED AND APPROVED this loth day of Feburary, 1981, on first
reading and PASSED AND APPROVED this loth day of March, 1981 upon
second reading.
