FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR TO PUBLISH OR CAUSE TO BE PUBLISHED NOTICE
OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, has at
its meeting on this day held, considered the propriety and the advisabil-
ity of instituting annexation proceedings relative to a tract of land
hereinafter mentioned; and,
WHEREAS, Article 970a of Vernon's Civil Statutes prescribing pro-
cedures to be followed regarding the publication of notice, scheduling
of hearing and other such metters:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEOjRGE-
TOWN, TEXAS that on the'

City of Georgetown, Texas, The City Council will hold a public hearing,
giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the
proposed annexation by the City of Georgetown, Texas of the property
described in Exhibit "A".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Georgetown
is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such publie,hear-
ing to be purlished once in a newspaper having general circulation in the
City, and in the above described territory not more than twenty (20)
days, not less than ten (10) days prior to the date of the public hear-
ing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act (chapter 160,
Acts of the 58th Legislature, Regular Session, 1963; compiled as 970a,
Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes).

Williamson County & that certain parcel of land owned by the Christ
Lutheran Church, more fully described in the Williamson County Deed
Records, Volume 692, pages 379 to 391.
