COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON
CITY OF GEORGETOWN RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, acting by and through
its Mayor, City Manager, and others, have attempted to
amicably secure a right of way and easement over and across
the land consisting of approximately 0.201 acres in the
William Addison Survey, Abstract 21, in Williamson County,
Texas, owned by Ronald T. Mahan of Dallas County, Texas,
and have been unsuccessful in reaching agreement with said
Owners; and,
WHEREAS, there is a necessity for such right of way
and easement for public use for the purpose of placing,
constructing, installing, maintaining, operating, repairing,
relocating and replacing a sewer line thereon: '
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Georgetown,
Williamson County, Texas, as follows:
That the mayor of said City forthwith cause to be
prepared and filed appropriate papers or pleadings in a
Court of competent jurisdiction under said City's power
of eminent domain for the condemnation of a perpetual right
of way and easement for the aforesaid purposes on, over, and
across a 15 foot wide strip of land described as follows;
Being a strip of land 15 feet in width and 589.5 feetinlengthoutofan88acretractoflandintheWilliamAddisonSurvey, Abstract 21 in WilliamsonCounty, Texas, and said tract is more particularlydescribedbymetesandboundsasfollows:
Beginning at a point in the south right-of-way lineofStateHighway29onthewestbankofSmithBranchforthenorthwestcornerofthistract, from whichpoint, the point of intersection of the east right-of- way line of Vine Street and the south right-of-waylineof19thStreetintheCityofGeorgetown, Texas, bears south 38° 57' west a distance of 3,548.43 feet;
Thence, north 89° 25' east along the south right-of- way line of State Highway 29 a distance of 20.31 feettothenortheastcornerofthistract;

Thence, south 410 49.' west along the southeastern
boundary of this tract a distance of,594.83 feet to
the southeast corner of this tract;
Thence,' north 21° 04' west along fence a distance of
16.85 feet to the southwest corner of this tract;
Thence, north 41° 49' east a distance of573.45 feet
to the place of beginning containing 0.201 acre of
land out of the William Addison Survey, Abstract 21
in Williamson County, Texas.
This resolution being acted upon motion duly made by
Hubert Brock,.seconded by and passed by

Hubert Brock, seconded by Harry Gold and passed by unanimous

COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON
I, Claud Eads, Secretary of the City of Georgetown,
Williamson County, Texas, do hereby certify that the
above and foregoing is a true, correct and exact copy of
an ordinance enacted by the City Council of Georgetown
at a meeting held on the th day of April
1971,
and that said ordinance as set forth above appears
in the City minutes of which I am the legal custodian.

on the west bank of Smith Branch for the northwest corner of this tract,
from which point, the point of intersection of the east right-of-way line
of Vine Street and the south right-of-way line of 19th Street in the City
of Georgetown, Texas, bears south 380 57' west a distance of 3,548.43
feet;
Thence, north 890 25' east along the south right-of-way line of State
Highway 29 a distance of 20.31 feet to the northeast corner of this tract;
Thence, south 410 49' west along the southeastern boundary of this tract
a distance of 594.83 feet to the southeast corner of this tract;
Thence, north 210 04' west along fence a distance of 16.85 feet to the
southwest corner of this tract;
Thence, north 410 49' east a distance of 573.45 feet to the place of
beginning containing 0.201 acre of land out of the William Addison Survey,
Abstract 21 in Williamson County, Texas.
