HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes_Customer Service Committee_01.21.1993MINUTES Customer Service Committee Meeting January 21, 1993 City Hall Conference Room Present: Elizabeth Gray Jim Landry Joanna Brandon Mary Ann Valenta Edward Frye Stephanie Crenshaw Leane Henderson Hugh Anderson Absent: Tenley Parr Old Business Help for employees on change in status: The Personnel Dept. is compiling a packet to give those employees who have a change in status and need to fill out numerous forms. This should make it easier for the employee. Public Utility gates: Terry Jones is working to come up with a solution for re -arranging the gates so that people who need to get in (e.g. citizens going to the animal shelter) can, while those who shouldn't be in the compound are kept out. Business cards: All employees who do not have an individual card are encouraged to use their Division's generic card. Public Utilities and Parks and Rec. already have cards. Joanna and Mary Ann will coordinate ordering the cards for Finance and Administration. New Suggestions Distribution of Friendly Service certificates: In the absence of the monthly department head meetings, the Committee recommends that certificates be distributed by Division Directors as part of Division meetings. Elizabeth will take to the Directors. Advertise the Friendly Service program: The Committee recommends that we advertise the Friendly Service program in the City Letter and possibly the Sun. Committee members agreed to make sure that their Divisions have plenty of table tents, brochures, and nomination forms readily available.
