Old Business
Help for employees on change in status: The Personnel Dept. is compiling a packet
to give those employees who have a change in status and need to fill out numerous forms. This
should make it easier for the employee.
Public Utility gates: Terry Jones is working to come up with a solution for re -arranging
the gates so that people who need to get in (e.g. citizens going to the animal shelter) can, while
those who shouldn't be in the compound are kept out.
Business cards: All employees who do not have an individual card are encouraged to
use their Division's generic card. Public Utilities and Parks and Rec. already have cards.
Joanna and Mary Ann will coordinate ordering the cards for Finance and Administration.
New Suggestions
Distribution of Friendly Service certificates: In the absence of the monthly
department head meetings, the Committee recommends that certificates be distributed by Division
Directors as part of Division meetings. Elizabeth will take to the Directors.
Advertise the Friendly Service program: The Committee recommends that we
advertise the Friendly Service program in the City Letter and possibly the Sun. Committee
members agreed to make sure that their Divisions have plenty of table tents, brochures, and
nomination forms readily available.
